Questions

Is my data really private?
Yes. T(A)X runs 100% on your machine. It reads public blockchain data directly — no account, no server, no analytics. Your wallet addresses never leave your computer.
What do I need to get started?
Download the app, paste your wallet addresses and hit Scan. For CEX imports (Binance, KuCoin, MEXC, Bitget) you need a read-only API key from each exchange. That's it.
Does it work for my country's tax rules?
T(A)X calculates gains and losses using FIFO and exports a clean CSV. Most countries (US, EU, UK, Australia…) accept FIFO. Your accountant or tax software can import the file directly. T(A)X is a calculation tool — not tax advice.
What about tokens with no listed price?
T(A)X fetches prices from CryptoCompare and DexScreener. Tokens with no available price are clearly flagged as "Price unavailable" and excluded from the portfolio total — the app never invents a value.
Will there be future updates?
Yes. One payment covers all future updates — new chains, new CEX connectors, new features. No additional cost, ever.
Does it work on Windows?
Yes. T(A)X ships as a .dmg for macOS and a .exe installer for Windows.
Refund policy?
Purchases go through Gumroad, which has its own buyer protection. T(A)X does not offer additional refunds beyond Gumroad's standard policy — check that your chains and exchanges are supported before buying.
